1. Township
Chester
is located in western Morris County. The
Township is rural in nature and surrounds the borough of Chester, the downtown
area. The majority of the homes are on
large acreage and have well and septic. Though surrounded by forests and farms,
Chester is a short ride from the county seat; Morristown and about a hour’s
ride from New York City. Homes are in
demand due to this rural, yet convenient area and the excellent schools.
